Established in 2023, our tattoo studio is a welcoming and inclusive space located in vibrant East Vancouver, just steps from Commercial Drive and Hastings Street. As a queer-owned and queer-friendly business, we take pride in fostering an environment where everyone feels safe, seen, and celebrated.
Our team of talented tattoo artists brings a range of styles and years of experience to the table, ensuring that we can bring your vision to life—whether it’s delicate linework, bold traditional designs, intricate botanicals, or something entirely unique. Your comfort, safety, and overall experience are at the heart of what we do.
In addition to tattoos, our studio is a hub for creativity and community. We regularly host guest artists and events like flash days, offering fresh designs and opportunities to connect. You’ll also find a curated selection of merchandise, including art prints, clothing, accessories, and home goods—all crafted with care and creativity.

At our studio, we believe tattoos are deeply personal—and so is the experience of receiving one. We’re committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment where clients from all walks of life feel seen, respected, and heard.
We value open communication and strive to make sure everyone feels comfortable expressing their ideas and desires throughout the tattoo process. Whether it’s your first tattoo or your fiftieth, we’re here to collaborate with care, listen closely, and honour your vision.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and all forms of bigotry have no place in our studio. We welcome people of all genders, sexualities, body types, races, ethnicities, religions, and backgrounds, and we’re always working to hold space in a way that is mindful, compassionate, and safe.

Accessibility
At Woodland Artist Collective, we’re committed to making our space as inclusive, accessible, and welcoming as possible. We recognize that access needs vary, and we’re always happy to assist with any questions or specific requests. Studio Access
Our studio is located at ground level and is wheelchair accessible. We have two entrances/exits, with doors measuring approximately 35.5 inches. Street parking is available directly outside, and we also have two private parking spaces behind the building.
Bathroom Accessibility
Our bathroom is fully wheelchair accessible and equipped with grab bars beside and behind the toilet.

Furniture & Equipment
Our entrance lobby includes a wide couch and armless metal folding chairs for a variety of seating options. Most of our tattoo beds are electric and can be raised or lowered to make getting on and off easier. Each bed has a weight limit of 450 lbs.
Service Animals & Support People
Service animals are always welcome in our space. Clients are also welcome to bring a support person or translator to their session—since our space is small, just let us know ahead of time if possible.
Sensory Needs
Lighting in most stations is adjustable, but bright light is needed for the tattoo process. We can provide you with tinted glasses during the tattoo process If you’re sensitive to bright lights. we’re happy to lower music volume if you are sound sensitive. We aim to maintain a low-scent environment and ask clients to avoid wearing strong perfumes or colognes. Some cleaning products and tattoo supplies may have mild scents.
Communication Support
We’re happy to accommodate different communication needs, including written communication or email correspondence for those who prefer not to speak. If you require extra time, alternative communication styles, or want to set clear boundaries around consent and touch, we fully support that.
Tattoo Station Accessibility
Not all of our tattoo stations are fully wheelchair accessible. If you use a wheelchair or have specific mobility needs, please reach out in advance so we can ensure the best possible setup for your session.
